The diary is a single web page that loads in under a second. There is no native app to crash. Drag a lesson, it saves. Reload the tab, it is still there. If your phone loses signal mid-edit, the change queues and replays when you are back on data.

Yes. You get a /book/your-name URL you can share on Facebook, Instagram, your website, or in your email signature. Pupils see your working hours, pick a free slot, drop their name and mobile, and you get an email. You approve or decline in one tap. Approved bookings drop straight into the diary.

Pupils with an email on file get a polite reminder 24 hours before the lesson with your name, the pickup point, and the time. You can also set a custom reminder (1, 2, or 6 hours before). Missed lessons trigger a private note back to you so you can chase. No bulk SMS, no per-message fees.

Yes. Email them a secure portal link (one click from their profile). They land on a clean page with their upcoming lessons, their DL25 reports they can download, a test readiness score, and a payments record. No password to remember, the link is the login.

You log every payment yourself, so the money always goes straight to you, never through us. Record cash, bank transfer, or a card payment you have taken on your own machine, and DL25 tracks each pupil's balance and what is still outstanding. The balance updates on your dashboard and on the pupil portal.

Yes, in one tap. On iPhone or iPad use the Share button in Safari and pick Add to Home Screen. On Android use the install prompt in Chrome. It then opens full screen like any other app and stays cached so it keeps working if signal drops on the way back from the test centre.

Tap the green Share button on any generated report. WhatsApp opens with a message already typed, "Hi Sarah, here is your DL25 report from 14 April. You passed. View it here." and a link straight to the PDF. If you have the pupil's mobile saved, it opens to that chat. If not, you pick the recipient like any other share.

It copies every fault tick, every note, and the pupil details. The result (Pass / Fail / Terminated) is cleared so you consciously set it for the new test. Then you just update what changed for the retest.

Yes, once you save your signature once in Settings. Draw it with your finger, stylus, or mouse. The signature is then embedded at the bottom of every DL25 PDF you generate, next to your name and school. The pupil still has a clear line to sign on paper too.

The fault counters are large tap targets, sized for gloves or cold fingers. The form auto-saves so a mistap on the wrong field is easy to correct. Fullscreen mode strips away navigation so you cannot accidentally lose your place.

Yes. The form is designed for portrait but rotates and reflows for landscape on tablets. If you mount your tablet on the dash, this is the way to use it.

Every change attempts to save as you tap. The page stays cached so it does not disappear if the connection drops. (Heads up, we are currently building an offline-save queue that will replay any missed saves automatically when you are back on data.)

Yes. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only you can see your pupils. We do not share data with third parties and DL25 is fully GDPR compliant.

Yes. All 18 DVSA competency areas, all 58 fault items, with the dangerous, serious, and driving fault distinction kept exactly as on the paper sheet.
